In English this year we have settled into our Reading Groups. During Reading Groups each of the students are required to complete several tasks throughout the week. These tasks include, reading and comprehension tasks, writing and research activities. Our research activity has been based on bears and the students needed to summarise information from a text and complete a two page project.

During HASS the class has investigated the history of Tasmania and the early discovery of Australia by European explorers. Each student has also completed a map of Tasmania and researched several other Australian states. As part of their assessment, students placed many of the important dates on a timeline.
