Our students have been working hard on their dioramas and artworks for the Wynyard Show. This year’s theme for the sculpture category is "Farm Scene," while the theme for 2D artwork is "The Four Seasons." Both themes have allowed our students to showcase their creativity, artistic skills, and understanding of the local environment.

With thoughtful planning and creative imagination, students designed beautiful farm-inspired scenes that highlight different aspects of rural life. They depicted a variety of farms, including chicken farms, dairy farms, beef farms, and wheat farms. Some even added a playful touch, showing humorous scenes about where chickens eventually end up! Each piece tells a unique story about farm life, celebrating the connection between people, animals, and nature.

To bring their creations to life, students experimented with a range of artistic techniques and materials. They watched videos on animal origami, learning how to fold paper into intricate shapes. Some mastered simple designs like chickens, pigs, and lambs, while others took on the challenge of creating more complex animals, such as a fox. Their patience and determination were truly inspiring!

We are incredibly proud of what our students have accomplished, and we can't wait to showcase their work at the Wynyard Show this Saturday.
